BSc Sport and Exercise Therapist
Ailis is a fully qualified Physiotherapist with a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. Ailis began her career as a Sport and Exercise Therapist, developing a strong foundation in hands-on treatment, injury management, and rehabilitation. She brings over four years of clinical experience, including work in semi-professional rugby and within a busy musculoskeletal clinic, treating a wide variety of clients and conditions.
Her areas of expertise include sports massage, soft tissue therapy, and the rehabilitation of both acute injuries and longer-term musculoskeletal issues. She blends manual therapy with movement-based rehabilitation and patient education to support long-term recovery.
Ailis takes an evidence-based, client-centred approach — helping people reduce pain, move better, and achieve their personal goals with confidence.
Physiotherapy assessment and Treatment
Physiotherapy assessment is the essential first step in diagnosing and understanding your musculoskeletal concerns. We conduct a detailed evaluation of your symptoms, movement, strength, and function to identify the root causes of your pain or injury.
Using a combination of targeted exercises, manual therapy, and advanced techniques, we create a personalised rehabilitation plan focused on strengthening injured areas, improving flexibility, restoring mobility, and preventing recurrence. Whether you’re dealing with a recent injury or ongoing discomfort, our tailored treatment approach provides the insight and support needed to help you get back to your best.
Sports Massage
Sports massage offers a wide range of benefits for athletes, active individuals, and anyone experiencing muscle tension or discomfort. It helps accelerate muscle recovery, reduce soreness, and improve flexibility, making it a valuable tool for injury prevention and overall wellbeing.
By increasing circulation, sports massage supports the removal of toxins and promotes faster healing. It also effectively relieves muscle tightness caused by prolonged sitting, poor posture, or daily stress, helping to ease aches and pains commonly experienced by people who spend a lot of time at a desk or in one position.
Whether you're recovering from a workout, managing everyday muscle tension, or aiming to improve mobility and relaxation, regular sports massage sessions can support your body’s health and keep you feeling your best.
Personalised Rehabiliation Programmes
Our physiotherapy rehabilitation programs are tailored exercise plans designed specifically for you and your unique injury or condition. Through targeted exercises that focus on strengthening injured areas, improving flexibility, and restoring mobility, we guide you safely through each stage of recovery.
Each program is personalised to address your specific needs, with a strong emphasis on injury prevention and long-term well-being. Throughout your rehabilitation journey, you will receive ongoing guidance and support, ensuring exercises are performed safely and effectively. Regular monitoring allows us to adjust your program as needed to optimise recovery and help you regain full function.
Whether you’re recovering from a sprain, strain, or managing a chronic issue, our exercise-based rehabilitation programs support you in returning confidently to your daily activities.
